The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, which was founded in 1585, is one of the oldest musical institutions in the world. Over the course of centuries, it has maintained an extremely rich historical heritage while transforming itself from a Renaissance academy into a modern institution of international fame with a vision for the future. It is a centre of excellence with the highest levels of musical training, and its orchestra and choir continue to expand their concert programming, promoting the culture of music and supporting young talents. Young musicians have honed their skills in the JuniOrchestra, the first children’s and youth orchestra in Italy, which was set up in 2006: 400 young musicians, divided into five age groups, are given the chance to develop their symphonic and chamber music repertory. This is a unique learning opportunity and life experience, thanks to music. Enel Cuore supports these young music lovers by financing 15 merit-based scholarships to help them and their families during their course of study.Details Place: Rome Association: Foundation Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Beneficiaries: 90 students Contribution: €99.000 Years: 2018/19 – 2019/2020 – 2021/2022 - 2022/2023 - 2023/2024
