Schools represent one of the most important places for children's growth and well-being. However, challenges related to behavioral disorders and relational difficulties emerge in particularly complex contexts. With the “Star bene a Scuola” project, we want to support the implementation of a targeted intervention to foster the social-emotional skills of elementary school children, directly involving teachers and families as well. The RETE Institute, which has been involved in research and education for years, has designed an experimental course designed to meet the specific needs of schools in the regions of Lazio, Campania and Abruzzo. The Institute's mission is to create tools and training paths that strengthen educational skills, improving interaction between students, teachers and parents. The one-year project will take place in ten schools in Lazio, Campania and Abruzzo. Activities include: Training for teachers, to equip them with useful tools in managing behavior disorders and promoting positive relationships in the classroom. Education for children, through workshops that develop social, emotional and relational skills. Support for parents, with paths aimed at improving dialogue with their children and creating synergy with the school context. Thanks to this integrated approach, “Star Bene a Scuola” does not just respond to an immediate need, but aims to build a more inclusive educational environment, capable of meeting the needs of each child and enhancing the fundamental role of the school and family in their growth path. Supporting a project like this means contributing to positive and lasting change aimed at improving children's emotional and relational well-being and strengthening their educational communities.
