Theatrical therapy is a form of expression that allows to improve psychophysical well-being, foster socialization and enhance personal skills. This is the goal of the “theatrical therapy” project, which will offer young people with rare genetic diseases a year-long course within a space designed especially for them: the Hopen House theater. A place that becomes much more than just a facility, but a stage to express themselves, grow and build relationships in a welcoming and inclusive context. Hopen Foundation has long been committed to improving the quality of life of children with rare genetic diseases and their families, and is a daily reference point with dedicated spaces, workshops and activities aimed at enhancing the abilities of young guests. The Foundation promotes an integrated approach that combines education, fun and support to create an environment where each boy can feel valued. We have chosen to support this initiative by helping to set up a theater space at Hopen House, making it the beating heart of this project. For one year, 40 young people between the ages of 12 and 25 will be able to participate in theater therapy, developing expressive skills, improving their self-esteem and strengthening bonds with others. Theater activities not only promote psychological well-being, but are also a powerful tool for building an inclusive and participatory community.
