In our country, social and economic inequalities continue to be a major challenge, with many people experiencing vulnerability and marginalization. Elderly people, people with disabilities, and families in economic hardship often face obstacles in accessing essential services and opportunities for inclusion. This is why we chose to support the Raggio di Luce ETS Social Cooperative, an entity that works to ensure the employment of disadvantaged people, with a special focus on people with disabilities. With action spread throughout the country, the Cooperative promotes social cohesion and improved quality of life, responding to the inclusion needs of companies and the community. The project “RICOMINCIO DA T.R.E. Territory-Relationship-Experience” was created with the aim of combating socio-economic, cultural and occupational poverty in the City of Santa Marinella. Its mission is to provide a welcoming and supportive space for the community, creating opportunities for growth and improvement for people in need. Through the activation of a Social Desk, the project will make available to the community a series of concrete and targeted interventions. There will in fact be: a reception and orientation desk, to provide listening and direct people to the services best suited to their needs; a counter for the distribution of basic necessities and accompaniment in social welfare practices; a listening desk with psychological support, to offer emotional and psychological support to those in need; a facilitation and social secretariat desk, which will provide information on rights, access to services and collaboration with other associations in the area. Finally, constant training of operators will be taken care of to ensure an increasingly qualified and effective service. We believe that social inclusion is not just a goal, but a path we can build together. Supporting RICOMINCIO DA T.R.E. means investing in a more equitable future in which no one is left behind.
