Music is an important tool for inclusion and sharing, and since 2006 the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, also thanks to our support, has allowed young musicians to evolve as artists with the JuniOrchestra, the first orchestra in Italy made up of children and young people in the context of the Italian opera-symphonic foundations. Supporting growth and education through music Supporting the talent of the youngest is the pillar around which to build a path to the future, enhancing Italian excellence: we donated 30 scholarships, doubling the number on the occasion of Enel's 60th anniversary, to support the training of young orchestra musicians. “What's more sustainable than music? Music starts from essential materials such as wood or brass, and develops a universal language. The partnership with Santa Cecilia represents the way to combine our propensity for sustainability with what is more sustainable in the world of culture.” Michele Crisostomo, President of Enel and Enel Cuore Onlus These 30 scholarships are important because they tell these kids, who have the most diverse backgrounds: I saw you and I reward you because I know you deserve it. Michele dall'Ongaro, President-Superintendent of Accademia Nazionale di Santa CeciliaA concert to celebrate a common energy A historic partnership consolidated by the Christmas concert with these young talents who, on December 6, celebrate these 60 years of future and energy, in the name of an increasingly sustainable tomorrow. “The youngest will design Enel's next sixty years. We are very happy to be able to support the training of young musicians through an intervention that recalls both the value connotations of Enel's activity, and also the ability, through Enel Cuore, to intervene capillarily on many occasions Michele Crisostomo, President of Enel and Enel Cuore Onlus Enel, Enel Cuore and Accademia di Santa Cecilia share a vision of the world in which culture is an instrument of knowledge and growth and puts young people at the core, enhancing their talent. “I would like to tell our kids to always remember to face the world by putting to use what they have learned: rigor, courage, enthusiasm and merit”.
